HARDIE, William (Bill)
March, 1932 to 8th April, 2025
With sadness and grace, we share the passing of our wonderful Bill.
Formerly of Blacktown, NSW, Bill, aged 93, passed away peacefully at home with his wife and sons beside him.
Dedicated and considerate husband for 65 years to Jean (nee Williams).
A thoughtful, caring father to Lee (Garry), Paul (Evie), and Robert.
Beloved Poppy to his grandchildren – Daniel (Sharron), Jamie (Deceased), Tamika (Ricky), Jade ,Taylor (Alex), Ben and great grandchildren- Emma, William and Jaylee.
Born in Scotland, the son of Jean Drummond Hardie and John Hardie (both deceased).
Loving brother of Ina, (deceased) Jim, John (deceased) and Annie and their spouses.
Brother-in-law to Gloria (Fred), Barry (Margaret), Nick (Lesley), Lyn (John), Mary (Nelson), and Wayne.
Dear uncle to his nieces and nephews.
A kind, humble man of few words who enjoyed a life well lived and loved. A proud military veteran who served the Australian Army for 6 years in Malaya and Korea. He was a strong, determined, and courageous fighter to the very end.
Resting peacefully now, his cheeky smile, banter, hugs, and kisses will be forever missed.

In accordance with Bill’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.
