Hello, my name is Mardi Catford
I am so proud to be part of a committed team of Funeral professionals who provide guidance, support and comfort to families and friends as they farewell their loved ones.
Being a part of a local community and knowing that I am able to help during these sad times, is an important part of my job.
Hello, my name is Leonie Hunt and I organise the live streaming of funeral and memorial services on behalf of Northern Area Funerals and provide other funeral services as required.
I realise how important it is for the families that lose someone they care about to be able to have access to lifetime memories, of the service, and for those who can’t be there in person, to allow them to farewell their loved one or friend online.
I also provide marketing, website and social media services for the business.
Hello, my name is Shelley Woolford
I feel honoured to be a part of the Northern Area Funerals team and particularly honoured to be of service to families and friends as they farewell their loved ones.
Being a part of a local community and knowing that I am able to help members of my community when they are grieving, is an important part of my job.
Being a funeral director is the most rewarding profession I have ever been involved in.
Being a part of a local community and knowing that I am able to help members of that community when they are at their lowest is an important part of my job.
Many people are unsure how to deal with losing someone they love, let alone organising a funeral for that person, that is where I can help take a load off of their shoulders, while at the same time offering them the support they need to move forward.
I believe your loved one, who has passed on, should be treated with the care and respect you would have wanted for them when they were alive.
I take pride in my profession and i love what i do!
In January 2017 I purchased the business from the previous owner and changed the name to Northern Area Funerals Pty Ltd.
I do understand how difficult it is for you when you lose someone you love, my husband passed away many years ago, the previous owner of this business was my funeral director and I was very impressed with the level of care he demonstrated, and I knew, when I had the opportunity to work in this industry, that I could provide the same level of professionalism.
