Burford, Peggy (nee Evans)
Passed away peacefully at Belalie Lodge, Jamestown on 7 th September 2026 in her
102nd year.
Loved and loving wife of Collin for 54 years.
Sister to George, Ken, Ray and Rose (all dec’d)
Peggy was a great support to many family members and friends. She had a special
love of the land, enjoyed gardening and was an amazing hand knitter.
Peggy will be fondly remembered for her quiet friendly and stoic nature, living on her
own into her 100th year.
Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of Belalie Lodge for the love and care shown
to her.
Peggy will be sadly missed by many people whose lives she touch in a special way,
including Betty, Jenny and Family

FUNERAL NOTICE
The FAMILY & FRIENDS of the Late Mrs Peggy Burford are invited to attend a
Funeral Service to be held in her honour at the Uniting Church, Irvine Street,
Jamestown on MONDAY 21st September commencing at 11.00am followed by a
committal in the Jamestown Cemetery.
In memory of Peggy a donation to Belalie Lodge Auxiliary would be welcome,
envelopes available at the Church or bank details via Funeral Director’s website.
